Non payment of loan is a civil matter & nothing to do with passport law of the country. The passport of any person who has been found guilty of any criminal offence can have problem in getting passport, even if the criminal complaint is still pending in a court will not be a reason for non issuing of passport to him/her. This lawyer’s notice or any civil suit with this regard will not be any legal consequence. You need not mention regarding this suit in the passport application as the only thing that has to be mentioned in the application form is with regard to criminal matter where he/she is found guilty by any court.
