Does a history of irregular menses affect the risk of breast cancer?
Though starting menstruation later in life and starting menopause earlier in life can reduce the risk of breast cancer slightly, from one study that I found they stated there was “no clear relation between breast cancer risk and irregular menstrual cycles, episodes of amenorrhea or menstrual cycle length” (47, 49).
