Yes. sheds, shelters, carports or garages, constructed or installed in the Vance County jurisdiction, require all applicable zoning and building permits and inspections. In addition, all pre-engineered structures are required to meet the requirements for construction in a 90 mph wind zone and all “stick built” structures must comply with the applicable North Carolina Building Codes.
