ya it will run faster cause it wont run anything most hard drives are made with moving metal disks so every time you load a file iit has to rotate to find it and read it and it takes sevral passes to completely read the file…

empty hard drive does not necessarily mean that ur system will run faster it is true that with less hard disk load seek time to search a document decreases becoz the disk head now had to move less but it also depends on ur paging memory and quality of hard disk hard disk in raid architecture access faster than other the more u allocate paging memory the faster the search is
