Does a chihuahua share the same breed as a teacup chihuahua?
The deer chihuahua is a slightly larger breed of chihuahua then the teacup chihuahua. They stand about 10cm tall at the withers and are alot more hardy than the delicate teacup chihuahua. Deer chihuahua’s have a kind disposition and are very active. They don’t bark alot if they are excercized regularily. Deer chihuahuas make good family pets for familys with older kids. They don’t require alot of grooming other than an occasional bath and brushing and although they should have their ears cleaned out every 4 months. Even if they are tougher than the teacup chihuahua they do enjoy a sweater and a warm bed and should not be kept outside. There are only about 500 deer chihuahuas left in the world!
