At 510kg unladen, even our off-road campers are too light for shock absorbers to be effective, as shockers are really only of benefit when the camper’s weight is a ton or more. It’s also harder to get shockers repaired if they are damaged while you’re off the beaten track. We use Australian made, 7-leaf shackle springs on our off-road campers.
