Does a Canopy system require any system engineering or frequency planning?
Simple Canopy systems that provide islands of unconnected coverage do not require significant frequency planning. Once these systems become more complex and provide contiguous coverage with greater capacity, frequency planning and RF propagation analysis are required to ensure high quality systems. Many service providers, value added resellers and distributors are capable of performing this analysis based on Motorola’s prescribed deployment practices.
