Does a blood test hurt? Getting one next week!?

I have had a lot of blood tests. Yes, they hurt a bit. But they don’t ache for days afterwards like when you get an injections. I don’t feel anything when they take blood out, I just feel the needle. If the nurse is good at it, it won’t hurt very much. Just remember that it will all be over soon! =) EDITED TO ADD: To stay calm, don’t look at your arm where you’re getting your blood drawn. Look in the opposite direction and think about something else, hum, sing, do whatever it will take for you to not concentrate on the pain. Don’t worry too much. While blood tests do hurt, they only take like a minute maximum.
