Signal from authorized devices will spill over longer distances from your premises and signal from unauthorized devices from farther will spill into your premises. The existence of 802.11n clients using 802.11n data rates in a/b/g environment poses a security threat by creating somewhat of a blind spot, allowing hackers to evade existing monitoring systems.
