Dodge Neon with Malfunction Indicator LIght?

0

I am driving a 2000 Dodge Neon that just had the malfuntion indicator light come on. It just passed state inspection and emissions and has a new battery, air filter, clean oil, etc. Had a 60,000 mile maintenance done about 2 months ago to check hoses and make sure there were no leaks and all that. I tightened the gas cap and light is still on. Car has 65,000 miles. Any ideas what else this could be? Thanks! A: Could be an oxygen sensor. Usually there is one located near/in the exhaust manifold. There may be one in the catalytic converter too. Could be other issues. . .
