Young people are not even closely engaged as they were during the Vietnam era. They are more concerned with their IPOD’s, LCD TV’s and the fact that a woman and a minority are running for President. They may say they are against the war, and “blog” about it, but the youngsters of Vietnam got off their butts, burnt a flag or two, their draft cards, huge demonstrations and engaged the adult establishment instead of hiding behind a computer screen.
