Do you write/draw any religious logo on a blank paper just before writing some important document?

In olden days only the fountain pens were used and it gets dried if not used for few hours. People before writing, they used to check the flow of ink by drawing this symbol. Once the flow is ensured, they will start writing the regular matter. Otherwise the very first word will have some irregular flow and we need to overwrite that first word which will look shabby! Very old practice was to soak the nib in ink and write. Just to find our whether amount of ink sticking in the nib is excess or low, this symbol is drawn. It is named as ‘Pillaiyar suzhi’ as we always pray Lord Ganesha before starting any work!
