Have you ever noticed the body of an Olympic sprinter? They look muscular and defined. Most of them spend a lot of time in the weight room. When they are at their competitive fitness level, they look like they have a body fat of less than 10%. In fact, they usually carry a six-pack abdominals and core that would make any bodybuilder envious. When you see them sprint, they look like the best conditioned athletes in all of the Olympics. Have you ever noticed the body of an Olympic marathon runner? They look skinny and taunt. It looks like they do not spend any time in the weight room. When they are at their competitive fitness level, they look like they have a low body fat percentage- but you can only see their bones. In fact, you may see their abdominals but you probably can see their ribs and shoulder blades. When you see them run, they look very light and skinny.
