DSAEK is the state of the art in posterior lamellar endothelial transplantation. It is becoming the procedure of choice of corneal surgeons to treat endothelial pathologies including pseudophakic bullous keratopathy and Fuch’s dystrophy. Magrabi Hospital was the first to use this technique in the Middle East. The objective of the Middle East DSAEK Course is to provide the corneal surgeon with necessary cognitive, clinical and surgical skills to be able to get started with DSAEK surgery safely and successfully.
