Do you tip the Tesco/Asda etc delivery guy?
If I lived in a house, I wouldnt tip. But if they have to make several trips up the stairs to a flat, i would give him a £2 coin. I read somewhere that delivery men only need to take goods to your front door (in a flat thats the outside door) because that is classed as a home delivery and if the driver chooses to take it up the stairs, its because he is being nice. I dont think the driver would expect a tip, but its a nice gesture and would cost less than your return bus fare if you had to go to the shop At the supermarket, they dont pack your bags or help you to the car so I wouldnt think of tipping them.
