But the Twins seem hesitant to do so for one reason — Hernandez’s experience. The right-hander may currently be the weakest link in the rotation, but he has a history of being in pennant chases. And with a young group of starters, there are some people in the Twins’ front office who believe it’s important to have a veteran presence there as well.
