The level of speculation and disinformation on this subject is absolutely amazing. It is essentially the same as the area 51 discussions. An original “witness,” with questionable moral grounds and psychological stability proposes a situation that most people want to believe in, and have no ability to ever prove or disprove. Somehow, after reading a bit of “information” on the subject, people throw out their own crackpot theories and opinions as fact(by the way, this is all my opinion, not fact ). The one single fact that I have been able to find on this subject is that the USS Eldridge exists/existed. Everything else is wild speculation about government interference and black helicopter conspiracy theories. I am by no means a scientist, and therefore I cannot comment on the accuracy of the theories, but for there to be so little actual evidence of these events is pretty telling.
