I agree that you cant help someone till they want to help themselves. Wanting to change is the first big step, and one only the sufferer can make. But the football association lets many players down, they take some young talented boys and put a lot of pressure on them in order to help them make the most of that talent and become great footballers. That’s all great, but they don’t think of the effect it has on the young men, not long term anyways. And once their retired they don’t really care. But they should see it as a lifetime commitment and continue to help those who need it.
