Do you think that violence,pornography which are present in Book, plays and films should be censored?
No. But I think it should be clearly and unambiguously advertised so that people can make an informed choice about whether or not they want to read what has been written, or observe what is enacted. More, anything with pornographic content should be kept well away from the rank and the file of the public, especially where kids are about. I’m not saying that porn shouldn’t be available to those who want it, only that those who don’t want it shouldn’t be confronted by it – it should be a thing that has to be sought out, not a thing which is publicly displayed. Violence is more a matter of degree and offers too many grey areas to permit a simple black or white system for it’s management; what one person regards as excessivley violent another might regard as nothing much to bother about. I prefer discretion to censorship any day of the week.
