unfortunately, yes, together they sound chavvy I think the reasons are 1) the pretentious “leigh” ending…it wouldn’t be nearly as bad if spelled Kaylie 2) the way the ending of Kaleigh runs into the start of Evangeline…all those long “e” sounds are just too much.

Kayleigh is a bit chavvy, yes. Evangeline isn’t. I think I’d just call myself Kay.

I think the name Kayleigh is chavvy but I quite like Evangeline.
