I don’t think so, I think that the sex and cursing has always been there, but because of the explicit tolerance in the past (segration, racism, less womens rights movement value, etc.) it seems as though it has become a much more hostile and unnacceptable culture in the movies, although overall still overly racy, I think it may have improved/.
