Do you think that the “Celebrity Apprentice” shouldn have let them use their celebrity contacts to win?
The celebrities aren’t like everyone else. They begin the game from a very different position and Trump is testing them on how well they use their contacts and status to work the game. I thought Omarosa was totally wrong to tell her team not to use their celebrity status and to work the business plan instead. As they got going she realized that she was wrong but if Marilu Henner hadn’t called in some friends to donate they would have had an embarassingly small amount of money in the end. Omarosa isn’t really a celebrity and she showed it in her direction of the first challenge. I was sorry to see the Playmate of the Year go home because she didn’t call Hef. Omarosa should have been the one to leave because she really isn’t a celebrity and she’s playing a celebrity game. Fake boobs do not a celebrity make. I watched the 1st episode and I agree that it turned into who has the most famous/rich friends, instead of a business competition. The Playboy Playmate girl was penalized for not calling Hugh Hefner, which leads me to believe that The Donald wants them to use their celebrity – it’s part of the game. The original Apprentice was a business competition – and Omarosa didnt want to use their celebrity this time around and they lost! If the name of the game is winning (which it is) then they should be able to use their celebrity to win – ESPECIALLY because it’s for charity. So, I guess I think they should be able to use their contacts.
I think the entire thing is one big joke and the Trumpster is diving in the dumpster. NO. The celebrities should not be allowed to use their contacts. The only redeeming thing this show could offer (besides a new hair piece for Donald) would be to see the “celebrities” (a word used VERY losely on the show… common… not even Kathy Griffin would do this gig) live their lives like common everyday citizens, void of their celebrity status.
