Yes, Woody, I do. Here’s why: He makes so many false statements in his advertising that one must come to the conclusion that he’s a liar, which is not what Christians are supposed to be. The only defense I can make for this behavior is that just about every Televangelist, or the big ones at least, do the same. They will say anything they want to say to raise money, and it’s pretty disgusting. With Jimmy Swaggart, he’s been saying for approximately three years, every Sunday on TV, that his Expositor’s Study Bible is the “best selling study Bible in the world today.” That is, pure and simple, hogwash. All the big name preachers have Study Bibles, and they surely have sold more copies than Jimmy – Kenneth Copeland, Joyce Meyer, even R. C. Sproul (Reformation Study Bible), Jack Hayford (Spirit-filled Life Study Bible), plus the Assemblies of God produces the Fire Bible, and has distributed over 3,000,000 copies in China alone, and has translated into 25 languages already and is working on
