Do you think that movies like Lady and the Tramp and 101 Dalmatians are encouraging backyard breeders…?
You know I thought about this before, and i agree! Dalmatians became extremely popular after the movie so everybody rushed out and bought one not really caring about what the breed is really like, all they thought was *This dog is going to be exactly like the dog in 101 Dalmatians!* Backyard breeders must of figured that out and started to cheaply breed Dalmatians. Once people figured out that there Dalmatian wasn’t like what they saw in theaters, they gave up on those poor little dogs and either abounded them or gave them to a shelter…it really is sad. But its not really the movies fault. Irresponsible pet owners are to blame…
