I’d say that it would affect what your body works best with. For an example, someone from a culture that didn’t consume much dairy would probably have a bad reaction to it. I’ve read that people from Japan have a bigger something or other (an organ, forget which) because they have been eating rice regularly for centuries, so their bodies grew to accommodate that. Also, someone whose body is made to, say, live in a cold, dry climate may find that in a hot, humid climate their skin breaks out, or their hair gets thinner, or they get sick more often.
