Do you think that Disabled veterans should have to pay taxes on their Benefit checks?

Veterans Disabilities Checks/ Income are tax exempt and they do not claim them on income taxes either, so your point is already being made. Also if they have over a 30% disability rating they get their medical treatments for free at a VA Hospital, all their medications are free and they are taken good care of. I have been for many many years. No complaints from me. It is a service to our men and women who have given their body and soul for this great country.. Sources: I know I am 60% disabled and have never had to pay a dime of taxes on the disability income.
