Do you think that bullies feel bad after a person that they bullied commited suicide?
I would hope they would not solely blame themselves for someone who took their own life as this many times was the last straw for a depressed, troubled person. Many people that commit suicide either have been depressed for a long time or have had an immediate crisis they felt they could not face or handle. At that point of taking their life made what I believe to be, a decision to place blame on them self or a particular person as many who do this have and will. Remember that suicide is the ultimate selfish act, but it also is one of power and control over the self……. Bullying is wrong, always, and sometimes sadly enough this may be what it takes for them to realize just how serious an issue it can be for them to begin to even think about change. I would surely hope they would feel compassion or some emotion if this should ever happen and if they in some way are involved, but blame is not the term I would use, responsibility is.
