As far as the governments actions to create equal rights definitly yes. It still needs improvment but it has changed. As far as society is concerned it will change once the people of that generation die off. Alot of people of that generation imprinted ignorance upon their childern and others. That ignorance is dying out day by day. People do things they would rather not to entertain the likes of their parents or families. This includes dating interacially and other things. Each generation has a little in them from the previous but unfortunatly ignorance is a trait that doesn’t die easily.
