Do you think President Barack Obamas goal of a world without nuclear weapons is achievable?

No. As long as the technology exists, the threat of nuclear weapons will exist. With the collapse of the Soviet Union, if you have enough money you can buy the technology and parts required to create a nuclear device. To quote Obama, “As long as these weapons exist, the United States will maintain a safe, secure and effective arsenal to deter any adversary, and guarantee that defense to our allies…” As the threat will always exist, the United States will always maintain a stockpile of nuclear weapons. Honestly though, nukes aren’t the premier world threat in my mind. If any weapon ends the world, it will be biological in nature.
