Do you think police, rescue & military dogs should be recognized for making the most supreme of sacrifices?
Yes, I do believe that police dogs should certainly be recognized. There is no doubt that they are truly very intelligent and lovely animals that have feelings and deserve respect for what they are asked to do. In many cases they are asked to go places that are simply too dangerous for their human handler. There are also amazing stories where German Sheppard canines have pulled a victim out of a burning building or saved from drowning. This is totally amazing and the bottom line is that those kinds of animals deserve the recognition that they receive.
