Do you think music is the reason many young black girls like thugs?
I think media plays a big part.These artists make these type of songs and keep the thug images they have because that’s the image they think will sell to young black America.And for the most part it does.And in turn it has made a lot of young men and women think that being a thug is what they need to be or who they need to date,because that’s all they see in videos and hear in songs. TV plays a major part interpreting how young kids see the world.How can they strive to go to college,vote,make positive changes in their community,when all that seems to get attention now are thugs,rappers and videos “models”.
