Do you think keeping IPL tournament just before T20-WorldCup is wrong?
You’re right, the T20 World Cup is more important (international cricket is always more important than the IPL). However the timing of the T20 World Cup is itself faulty in that it is played less than a year after the last T20 World Cup. We don’t need a T20 World Cup played every year! Global ICC tournaments (World Cups and the like) should only be held once a year, and the Champions Trophy should have been played this year instead of last year, with no T20 World Cup this year. The scheduling of the global tournaments should look something like this: 2010: ICC Champions Trophy 2011: ODI World Cup 2012: T20 version of the Champions Trophy 2013: T20 World Cup 2014: ICC Champions Trophy and this cycle should repeat.
