Do you think its possible for strangers to sense emotions like sadness in people?
He sounds like a great guy, and such a shame that he hasn’t met someone special. I am sure we all have the ability to sense hidden emotions in others. But I don’t think his sadness would be a barrier for an interested female. Have you seen him interact with the opposite sex? Maybe he is doing something very fundamental that is stopping a relationship growing. He sounds confident, but he may be approaching a friendship with a woman in a negative way, which may come across as lacking in confident. I know I have met people for the first time and sensed a deep emotion in them. And a great sadness would not have stopped me cementing a relationship with them. You sound like a great friend, btw.
