Do you think it is important for a project manager have a Cobit/Itil foundation certification, and why?
Depends on the nature of the projects they are undertaking and if you are asking if its the knowledge or the certificate which are important. If the Project Manager is directly involved in a service management project then obviously knowledge of ITIL is of value. The value of actually having the certification would depend on the view of the Project owner.
