Do you think Indira Gandhi was fraud?
A little as most politicians are. In 1975, the high court in Allahabad convicted Gandhi of election fraud during her 1971 campaign and order her to resign. What she does now is really interesting, she declared the state of emergency in India on June 26. All civil rights are suspended, and thousands of oppositions leader and journalists are quarantine like computer virus. Im March 1977, Gandhi removed the state of emergency and ordered free election. She was hoping to show popular support for her regime but she did loose her parliament seat and BJP along with its alliance defeated India’s New Congress Party.
