Do you think Hugo Chavez is a better leader than Kim Jong-il?
Chavez is a democratically elected leader, just as George Bush almost is. The Americans might not like him, but the people of Venezuela are entitled to elect their own leader. The USA does not have the right any more, to decide who controls South American countries. And his policies should be designed to benefit the people of Venezuela, not the White House. Kim Jong-il is a particularly nasty dictator, hated by the US not for his dictatorial ways, but because the colour of his politics isn’t acceptable to the White House. Life in North Korea is brutal and repressed under the Kim dynasty. Venezuela under Chavez has seen improvements in literacy, public health and lifestyle for the poorest. He is a good leader for Venezuela, but not for USA. Kim Jong-il is a madman and a danger to the whole world.
