Do you think hiring a clown is scary or entertaining for a first graders birthday party?
Generally, hiring a clown for a first grader’s birthday should be fine. Entertainment is always enjoyed at kids’ birthdays and they may be too young to understand a magician’s tricks so a clown is a good idea for simple, kid fun. Clowns can make balloons and provide silly entertainment for children.
There has always been a preconceived notion that clowns scare children but this is not usually the case. However, every parent should know their own child the best so it’s really a personal judgment call on whether or not you think a clown would scare your own child. Otherwise, hiring a clown to entertain for a couple hours is a fine idea.
