Do you think GM, Ford and Chrylser will go bankrupt?
GM has a good chance of going into chapter 11, even if the government gives them the loans. GM didn’t really start any reorginiaztion plans until real recently. Chrysler has a lot of money behind it, and there are a lot of people that still think that Cerberus is actually looking for a buyer of Chrysler. GM and Chrysler were talking before the economy really went south. Chrysler still may declare chapter 11, but I don’t think it would do much good. Ford, on the other hand, is in better shape. When Mulally took over, he was brought in to turn ford around. This process started back in 2002. There plan still would make $7b available, but Ford would only use it if necessary. They don’t think they will need it. Ford thinks they will return to flat or profit in 2009. My opinion…
