Many think that globalization open the doors for a poor country to the international market. If the country has few materials, physical products available from its own soil then the large corporations see this as an opportunity and take advantage of the poverty of the nation. They take advantage of the lower wage rate. They set up factories in the poor countries where employees agree to work for low wages. Then if labor laws alter in those countries and stricter rules govern the manufacturing process they close down the factories and relocate them to other nations with more conservative, laissez-faire economic policies.
