Do you think facebook and myspace are valuable tools to use for job searching?
No. You might be able to communicate with someone about a job, but you very likely won’t find any job prospects on either site. First of all, the majority of people on Facebook are college and high school students, all of whom are probably looking for work, too (at least the college ones). MySpace is primarily an entertainment-centric site. Jobs are found on Monster, Dice, local newspaper classifieds and networking face-to-face with real people.
