Do you think electric cars are polution free?
Electric cars aren’t pollution free but let’s follow that thought. If everyone had an electric car, and needed to charge their battery at home at night, we could focus on making electricity cheaper through the use of wind, water, and solar generation. We would not have to worry about the lack of refineries or if the Saudis or Iranians or even the Venezuelans and Canadians were going to cut back on our supplies. Big Tanker ships and trucks would not have to haul oil all over the globe to get to us.
