Do you think calling oil “Fossil Fuel” contributes to gas prices?

You’re right, “fossil fuel” is a misnomer since there’s lots more oil than there were dinosaurs. The price is due to “supply & demand.” The demand has gone way up due to the Chinese and India people buying so many millions of cars. There’s actually plenty of supply, but the restrictions make it very difficult to extract from inside the US. We have reserves in excess of 500 billion barrels in the midwest. As soon as the environmentalists let us get the oil the prices will start going down. So bug Congress as much as you can to let us drill. Also the new “global warming” taxes that will go into place soon will raise the price of gas another few dollars a gallon.
