Do you think boys are better in maths than girls?
In my experience, boys are better in maths than girls though the difference is not very large. I have experienced this even as a private teacher for 18 years. I also recall another instance of my life. About 40 years back, I had appeared in GRE in my effort to seek an admission for MS in USA. That time in a subject related to maths called ‘quantitative analysis’ percentile ranking of my score was given. I had 91% result counting amongst boys and girls. But if only score of boys was considered, I had 87% percentile rank and amongst girls, I had 94% percentile rank. If someone has access to such data over a long period of time, more scientific conclusion can be drawn.
