Do you think aliens live in the deep ocean where we cant explore?
The oceans would be a logical place for beings not of this world to put a base and remain hidden. The ocean floors, especially those of the abyssal plains and ocean trenches are extremely hard to explore even when robots are used. We know more about space and other planets than we do about the oceans here on Earth because the crushing pressure makes building vehicles to go there very difficult. The a pressure also deflects sound waves, the only form of energy that can travel through sea water well. What detailed knowledge that does exist regarding the sea floor is also a tightly guarded state secret because submarines can use it to evade detection.
