Do you think a perpetual motion machine is possible or just a fools game?

Perpetual motion violates the rules of the universe as we understand them. If anybody invented such a machine, we would have to throw away 200 years of physics and start again. Since that body of physics appears to describe the universe to considerable accuracy, I think it is likely that perpetual motion machines are impossible.
