Do you think a church service promoting gun ownership is going too far?

Hi A question for you, do you think a church service that promotes the anti gun agenda is going too far. That is the case of many denominations, the United Methodists come to mind. They have made call for and funded anti gun drives. That is as, if not more than, an extreme position. Guns at church are a long tradition, only recently having fallen out of favor. Getting together after the sermon for a little target shooting was and in some places is still looked on as a way to build the family of God. As to those of you from England, now that you are disarmed, you are dealing with a large increase in knife crime. The weak are now fully at the mercy of the strong. But, it appears that you are as a people well down the path as described by Orwell and Huxley. You were once a great people, but you have been throwing that away as quickly as possible.
