Do you think 78 year old Prime Minister of India is not capable of administrate this country anymore?
If this question was to condemn government on inflation I would I would have echoed your voice, but if the question is to condemn Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh for Inflation and term it as Dr. Manmohan Singh’s personal failure that is not really true. In 1960s when India was going through drastic food shortage, under the leadership of Smt Indira Gandhi Indian Government turned the situations but today we are not able to do that why? That question often comes in my mind. And reading the situations, measures taken at that time, leadership at that time and comparing with today’s I get my answer. The answers are unfortunate but ground reality. In 1960, when we had food shortage, we had same political party ruling in Center as well as most of the states in India, this give liberty to Union Government of Indian Republic to act smoothly and swiftly.
