Do you take Remicade for Crohns Disease?

0

Hello, I have Crohn’s Disease and I’m currently on Remicade infusions of 10mg/kg every 6 weeks. I’ve been on it since June of last year. Yes, it works fast…my first infusion I was feeling normal about 2 days after. Now that I’ve been on it, for me it has lost some effects of it…just my body builds tolerances to medication fast soooo…still going on with it till it does nothing for me. I went in for the first two at 5mg/kg every 8 weeks…than by the 4th it went to 10mg/kg because I built a tolerance to it. Have you GI in about 6-7 months run a test for Remicade Antibodies…I wish you the best…have to say honestly get some great sleep after Remicade infusions…:) Some people take few hours to start feeling it where as some take days. If you don’t see any improvement with the bloody stool I would talk with you GI after the 3rd infusion. If you are seeing results on your second infusion than yes, Remicade is working for you. The only crappy thing about Remicade is sitting there d
