Do You Skate at a Friendly Ice Rink? Thursday January 17, 2008 I must admit that one of the ice rinks I skate at daily is NOT a friendly place. The skaters training at the rink are so busy working hard at improving at figure skating that I rarely see smiles. Adults and young beginning skaters don’t always feel welcome at the facility. This got me thinking that there just had to be other ice arenas where the fun of ice skating still exists. I’ve done some research and have come up with a list of happy and friendly ice rinks.
