Do you see any comparisons between the Waco Branch Davidian and the FLDS raids?
Some You have the government charging in there and taking control In the first case the Davidian cult it was case of there were gun charges against David. In the second case a false charge of child abuse lead to the government storming in and taking kids. In child molesting case you are first guilty and than you have to prove you are innocent. If you are cleared than you have that charge on your record forever. I have first hand experience dealing with social services having storm trooper power and the acceptance of America they can do it. At least this time they didn’t burn the place down.
Not really. No kids are being incinerated at FLDS. No COPS films are being made while serving the warrants. As opposed to the entire fiasco at the Branch Davidians complex, which was screwed up from start to end, the FLDS thing has gone by peacably and legally. Whether or not the actual call that precipitated the action was real or not is the main question, one that I’m sure will be a very crucial point in the investigations and trials.
As with Waco there seems to be a pattern of Feeding the people false information so the masses turn against them and then they (meaning government) would have impunity to do what is nessesary in their eyes as in waco the idea of sexual misconduct abounds and it’s imperitive that they must act in the best interest of the children.
